In mid-April Amendment AM494 was withdrawn and a substantially similar Amendment AM750 was adopted in committee, which establishes the language, "Plans submitted after remodeling or construction has begun shall be accompanied by a late submittal fee of an amount equal to an additional fifty percent of the plan review fee" and updates the effective date of certain fee structures to September 1, 2025.
Additionally, on April 29, 2025, the bill was placed on Select File with language from the Enrollment and Review committee that adds "and to declare an emergency" to the final sentence on page 1 of the bill.
