The Fire Sprinkler Contractors Association of Nebraska is helping to support the upcoming Fire Team USA 1 and a ½ day program that is coming to Omaha on August 10th and 11th. This program helps interested participants understand residential sprinklers and how to adopt a code. This is a free event open to anyone, additionally Fire Team USA will be providing complimentary hotel rooms as well as some meals as part of this federally funded program. There will also be a side by side burn demonstration done with the FSCAN burn trailer that is currently under construction.

- Help a Fitter
Attached is a note received from Sharon Cook at Building Sprinkler, Inc. (an FSCAN Member in Sioux Falls). Sharon’s brother Steve Horsley is a sprinkler fitter who took an early pension to be with his wife who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.
I AM ASKING FOR YOUR HELP PLEASE!!!! MY BROTHER IS ONE OF FIVE PEOPLE WHO HAS BEEN NOMINATED TO WIN A NEW CAR. TO WIN, HE NEEDS VOTES - - - A LOT OF VOTES. Steven has had some real tough times the last few years and unfortunately, has probably got a lot more ahead. He is trying his best to take care of a very sick wife and adapt to a way of life he never expected he would have. He has been my rock and my rescuer so many times over the years. This is one thing I can do for him. I can ask my co-workers, my friends, anyone that might be willing to help by giving 30 seconds of your time to cast a vote for CANDIDATE #4 at the web site above. In fact I beg you to please help me to help him!
Woodhouse Autos is giving away several new cars this summer. One a month to a deserving nominee who then wins the most votes. Steven is an April nominee, CANDIDATE #4. We have till the end of the month to get the votes. Ask your wives, significant others, your kids, your friends to go to the woodhouse.com website and vote for CANDIDATE #4.
Thank you for your time and for your vote. I truly appreciate any and all help you can give me and my brother.
Sharon Cook
